About Me
I began my aviation career at age 17, earning my Private Pilot Certificate in Santa Barbara, California. By 25, I had added an Instrument Rating and stepped into leadership roles, managing a flight school and maintenance facility while gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of aircraft and airframes.
With over 20 years in general aviation, I hold a Commercial ASEL and Multi-Engine certificates, along with CFI, CFII, and MEI ratings. A Gold Seal Flight Instructor, I have flown and instructed in aircraft from Diamond, Cessna, Beechcraft, Mooney, Cirrus, Piper, Grumman, Tecnam, Lancair, and more.
I am passionate about developing the next generation of aviators, specializing in advanced instruction, CFI mentorship, and mountain flying throughout the Colorado Rockies. In the past, I have managed a Part 141 flight school and I continue to share my deep aviation knowledge with pilots of all experience levels. Through the creation of Gold Seal Aircraft Acquisition, I aims to further support pilots and aircraft owners by providing expert guidance rooted in decades of practical aviation experience.
During my free time, I am very passionate about sharing my passion for rock climbing, especially bouldering and sport climbing. The physical and mental aspect of climbing outdoors and in competitions helps to keep me sharp and on point within the aviation industry by enhancing my focus on the smallest details. This attention to detail also comes from my past when I was racing downhill mountain bikes in the pro category.
While traveling the country and visiting GA airports, make sure to say hi to meet me and my dog (Gunner). We enjoy visiting as many airports as possible and meeting all of the pilots along the way.
